City+ 2018 Conference was Successfully Held at UCL Bartlett

City+2018: The International Conference for PhD Students and Early Career Researchers on Urban Studies was successfully held in London, the UK on 15th September. About 110 delegates of academic staff, postdocs, and PhD students from 32 universities and research institutes attended the conference and shared their research thoughts and experiences. They come from 9 countries including the United Kingdoms, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, the United States, South Korea and China. City+2018 国际会议成功举办

摘要: City+2018城市研究国际青年研讨会在伦敦成功举办,共吸引来自9个国家32所高校的110余名参会人员。   正文: 9月15日,City+2018城市研究国际青年研讨会在伦敦大学学院巴特莱特学院(The Bartlett, University College London)成功举办。会议由伦敦大学学院和英中人才发展协会(UCTDA)主要支持,联合伦敦国王学院(King’s College London)、剑桥大学(University of Cambridge)和荷兰代尔夫特大学Delft University of Technology)共同举办。我们邀请了Chris Hamnett教授(英国社会科学院院士,伦敦国王学院)、D’Maris Coffman教授(巴特莱特建筑与项目管理学院院长,伦敦大学学院)、Johan Woltjer教授(国际期刊Cities副主编,威斯敏斯特大学)和James Haworth博士/Tao Cheng教授(伦敦大学学院)做主题演讲。同时,还有25名青年学者从社会、环境、科技三个核心视角分享了各自的城市研究成果。 City+2018吸引了来自英国、荷兰、法国、德国、意大利、以色列、美国、韩国、中国9个国家32所高校的110余名参会人员。参会人员大多数为高校教师、博士后和在读博士,也有来自伦敦交通局(Transport for London)等机构的研究人员,以及一些在伦敦就读的硕士新生。对比去年,在剑桥大学举行的City+2017会议吸引了来自英国、荷兰、丹麦、意大利、中国5个国家18所高校70余名参会人员。今年的会议无疑具有更大的影响力,为青年学者创造了更好的交流与合作机会。 我们已经着手准备City+2019会议,期待来年再聚!   会议准备   主题演讲   演讲嘉宾   聆听报告   观众提问   现场互动   茶歇交流   阅读海报   代表合影
