Conference Programme
The City+2026@Mytilene Conference will take place on 1–5 July 2026 at the University of the Aegean, Mytilene, Greece.
This marks the 9th City+ International Conference, following previous editions at Cambridge (2017), London (2018), Delft (2019), Milan (2021), Canberra (2022), Perth (2023), Kitakyushu (2024), and Oxford (2025). The conference brings together scholars from dozens of countries and regions across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania, including China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Singapore, Greece, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, and Australia. City+2026 features 4 keynote speeches, 140 oral presentations, and 36 poster presentations across a broad range of interdisciplinary urban studies topics.
The conference brings together participants from more than 100 universities, research institutes, academic publishers, and professional organisations worldwide. Among all participants, 42.11% are academic staff and researchers, while 40.53% are PhD students.
